Position title:  Transfusion Medicine Specialist

Position details:  Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Saskatoon and University Saskatchewan, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, seek a Transfusion Medicine Specialist, with 0.5 FTE available in this position. A part-time role in another discipline of laboratory medicine or a clinical specialty may be potential options, depending on the training of the applicant.

Candidates in consideration must hold certification or eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in a lab discipline (e.g. General Pathology, Hematopathology) or medical specialty (e.g. Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Anesthesia) with specific fellowship training in Transfusion Medicine, or a suitable combination of education and experience. In addition, candidates must be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
